We are looking for an organised and proactive Senior Business Support Officer to join our Project Management team. You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of a wide range of council projects that benefit our communities, providing high-quality administrative, business, and operational support to ensure efficient project delivery.

In this role, you will support a varied project portfolio - from community and infrastructure initiatives to digital and service transformation. Working closely with Project Managers, Service Leads, and stakeholders, you will provide strong organisational and analytical support, maintain project governance standards, and act as a central point of coordination for the team.

You will oversee essential business processes, ensure accurate documentation, support budget monitoring and reporting, and help improve systems and workflows to enhance efficiency. You will also contribute to continuous improvement and the adoption of best practices across the service.
As a senior member of the support function, you will be promoting a collaborative and professional working environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, varied setting and wants to contribute to meaningful projects that positively impact local communities.

Essential:

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Sufficiently numerate to compile and present accurate statistical data.

This role requires the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.

Experience & Qualifications

GCSE O Level Standard in English and Maths at Grade C or above (or equivalent).
