We are proud to announce in Autumn 2025 the launch of our Supported Internship Programme. A new initiative designed to create meaningful workplace opportunities for young people with learning disabilities.
Internship support
In partnership with South Devon College, Brunel School and Coombe Pafford, our supported internship model offers 16 -24-year-olds with a diagnosed learning disability and an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) a chance to gain real workplace experience. It will support them to build confidence and develop essential employment skills in a supportive environment.
The programme offers:
- up to one-year term time
- academic programme combining classroom learning and hands work experience
- around 16 hours per week in a working environment across various departments.
- tailored roles designed around individual interests and capabilities
- full training and support from dedicated job coaches and workplace mentors helping young people achieve their full potential.
